Packers is a club for kayakers and canoeists based in Peterborough, UK and is the leading coaching club in Eastern England. Of the c.140 members, around 25 hold coaching qualifications in kayak or open canoe disciplines. This gives members an unrivaled opportunity to develop their skills and gain qualifications if they so wish. Beginners are always welcome and we have all the necessary equipment to get you started.

• Regular Thursday evening club nights through the summer (May to September)
• Regular Wednesday evening coaching sessions also through the summer (May to September)
• Regular Friday evening swimming pool sessions through the winter (October to April)
• Weekend trips to white-water venues (e.g. Dee, Tryweryn, Dart, Swale, Ure, Tees)
• Longer expeditions in the summer (e.g. Alpine trips, Paddling on the sea, Canoe camping trips in Scotland)
• A wide variety of training events
• Assessments for BCU qualifications
